The Food/Wine/Design Fair has been based on a model that is unique to South Africa. At the heart of the Fair are the curators that Artlogic has partnered with to source and select the participants who will provide only the best local, high-quality goods to Fair visitors in November. This concept is central to the Fair and is what sets it apart from similar events in the country.

Hyde Park Shopping is proud to be the new home for the Food Wine Design Fair 2010. Since Hyde Park‚s inception in 1969, various design elements including: bespoke art sculptures, murals and mosaics have lived within the walls and passageways of the centre. The continuation of this legacy is currently underway with world renowned South African Artist, Willem Boshoff, who‚s lexicon artwork which will be incorporated on all the skylights throughout the centre. This design project will be completed in line with the start of the opening of the 2010 Food Wine Design Fair, in keeping with the overall strategic vision of the centre. In keeping with the dynamic tenant mix of the centre, which reflects a distinguished blend of leading international and local brands, catering to the conventional as well as the more eclectic lifestyle trends, the Food Wine Design Fair adds a synergetic addition to the centre.
